Shipping Methods
We currently offer a standard third-party shipping option, with delivery taking up to 15 business days. All products are made to order and individually hand-packaged. Delivery times may vary based on your location and any customization requests.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or additional fees.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days, after which production begins. Once completed, each item is carefully hand-packaged for shipment. Please allow up to 15 business days from order placement to delivery. Processing times may be longer during peak seasons or holidays; we will notify you of any delays.
Shipping Confirmation
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.
Delivery
Delivery timelines vary by location. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or failure to collect it, a re-shipping fee will apply.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, contact us immediately. We will coordinate with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and may offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.
International Shipping We ship to select international destinations. Please be aware that customs delays and fees are
beyond our control and are the customer’s responsibility.
As a small business producing made-to-order prints, The Altered Store offers a limited, case-by- case return policy.
• If you’re unsatisfied with your order, contact us within 5 business days of delivery at alteredstore.global@gmail.com.
• For damaged items, email us within 7 days, including clear photos of the damage.
We only accept returns for:
• Visually or physically defective photographic prints
• Custom orders with confirmed production defects
If approved, we may offer a reprint or a full refund (excluding shipping), provided the item isn’t damaged due to customer handling. Returns should be sent with Delivery Confirmation, as we cannot refund lost returns.
For non-print items, they must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging to qualify for a refund.
Gift cards and digital products are non-returnable.
By completing a transaction, you agree to a legally binding purchase of the selected product or service.
Cancellations
Cancellations are only permitted if clearly stated on the platform and are subject to the applicable terms. Approval is at our sole discretion, and we may request additional information before making a decision.
